Le weekend: fall style

September 24th, 2012

Snipets of an amazing weekend. Saturday was spent in Ottawa with Rachel for her final Monique Lhuillier fitting (!!!) at The White Dress. We made an afternoon out of the event and stopped at the cutest lunch bar, The Scone Witch for a delicious scone brunch followed by the seasonal favourite, Pumpkin Spice Latté at Starbucks.

And Sunday was another beautiful early fall afternoon, the perfect excuse for Nick and I to walk around the city’s south end with my little lamb love. Sporting my favourite oversized cashmere sweater this season- the Baja from ça va de soi: so soft I’ve dubbed it a cashmere hug. Worn with these jeans, which are so perfect in fit and cut I can’t help but live in them of late. In a nutshell, we did what I love to do this time of year: take in the city’s new fall landscape- pumpkins are here! We also stopped for possibly the best tacos (tuna tartare with mango salsa) care of Marché 27 at the food truck rife, Rendez-Vous Gourmands. I live for this time of year.

  1. Awww puppy! You look absolutely fabulous, and like you, I live for this time of year too. Your purse is amazing, would never have believed it was from Zara. So obsessed with food trucks, I’m jealous. x E
